During the last seven days Ponducherry Government recorded seven fresh COVID-19 cases.
The overall caseload increased to 1,65,832.
The director of health G Sriramulu in a release said that the department evaluated 1,251 samples and 7 new cases surfaced during the examination.
The death toll remained 1,962 as there was no fresh fatality in the last 24 hours in Ponducherry.
